Valves & Final Control Elements

A control valve serves as an important part of the control loop and is critical to effective process automation and control.

By fully or partially opening or closing in response to a process signal, this valve is used in pipelines as a means of controlling vital operating conditions such as flow, pressure, temperature and liquid, gas or steam levels.

Each valve is made up of three main parts: the actuator, positioner and valve body. These parts in turn are available in several types and designs.
